Jawai is a once in a lifetime experience. Open safari experiences, sight of leopards resting on the rocks and with wilderness all around, the place lets you soak in the beauty of untamed nature. Adding to the magic is the sight of various avian species. The region is home to thousands of migratory birds. The marshy land around also has a good population of cranes, painted stork and herons.

Often referred to as ‘Masai Mara of India’, Jawai is known for its high leopard density, and this increases the possibility of sighting here. Besides leopard, the region also boasts of desert cats, sloth bears, Indian wolves, and marsh crocodiles.

Though the highlight in Jawai might be its wildlife, the local life too is endearing. The simple and vibrantly dressed Rabari tribe adds to the magic of Jawai. Always greeting guests with a smile, they make the Jawai experience truly exclusive.

An avid wildlife photographer and nature enthusiast, Vikramaditya is deeply connected to the landscapes and wildlife of Jawai. He is also a champion of wildlife conservation and sustainability.
