JOURNEY TO THE INFINITE

Artist and architect Vasant Dora presents Aaveg: Between the Finite and the Infinite, a solo exhibition curated by Jyoti A. Kathpalia. Bringing together two interconnected series, Habitat Scapes and Samsara, the exhibition explores Dora’s engagement with architecture, cities, and inhabited urban spaces alongside ideas of existence through Shiva and Shakti, purusha and prakriti. Drawing from his nearly four-decade career as an architect, Dora combines structural forms, expressive colours, and spiritual thought to examine relationships between matter and energy, the built and the felt, and the finite and infinite. His artistic practice reflects his longstanding interests in design, philosophy, poetry, and spirituality.
