As we complete 19 glorious years of serving our passengers and the nation, I am reminded of the exhilaration I felt watching our inaugural flight take off from New Delhi on May 23, 2005, bound for Ahmedabad. The enthusiasm and conviction that fuelled our journey’s outset remain as vibrant as ever, matched only by our unwavering commitment to providing a seamless flying experience to each of our passengers. From being a part of countless cherished memories for first-time flyers to stepping up to serve in the face of adversity, our relentless spirit and unwavering dedication continue to drive us forward. As we reflect on our journey thus far, we renew our pledge to serve both our passengers and our nation with the same passion and determination that have defined us from the very beginning.

From being a part of countless cherished memories for first-time flyers to stepping up to serve in the face of adversity, our relentless spirit and unwavering dedication continue to drive us forward. As we reflect on our journey thus far, we renew our pledge to serve both our passengers and our nation with the same passion and determination that have defined us from the very beginning.
As we press onward on our growth trajectory, we are steadfastly fortifying our fleet to ensure optimal operational readiness. The recent incorporation of Boeing and Q400 aircraft into our fleet has significantly bolstered our operational capacity, precisely meeting the escalating demand for air travel. We are poised to inaugurate new flights and elevate the frequency of existing routes. Moreover, we have reached successful settlements with some of our key partners, yielding substantial savings exceeding INR 1250 Crore for the airline. These savings not only fortify our balance sheet but also pave the way for an exciting new chapter of growth and prosperity.
Remaining steadfast in our commitment to serve the people, we are intensifying our focus on regional and UDAN routes to benefit as many individuals as possible.
As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance connectivity to smaller cities and remote areas, we are pleased to announce the resumption of flight operations to Pakyong Airport in Sikkim. Our daily flights between Kolkata and Pakyong, along with the five-day-a-week service connecting Pakyong with Delhi, signify our dedication to providing convenient travel options for residents and meeting the needs of business travellers and tourists alike. The resumption of flight connectivity to Pakyong will not only benefit residents with convenient travel options but will also cater to the growing number of business travellers and tourists visiting this picturesque state.
We are thrilled to announce another significant expansion to our growing network with the introduction of non-stop flights connecting Hyderabad to Ayodhya. The launch of direct flights from Hyderabad will provide pilgrims from the region with unparalleled convenience in reaching this sacred destination. Our team is actively working to enhance the frequency of flights and establish connections with additional cities, further streamlining travel to Ayodhya.
It is heartening to note that our efforts have been met with such warmth and enthusiasm from our valued patrons. Consistently achieving the highest occupancy rates among all airlines in the country is a testament to our dedication to providing exceptional service. In March 2024, we proudly recorded an impressive occupancy rate (PLF) of 92.7%.
