Welcome aboard SpiceJet! At SpiceJet, we believe in the pursuit of excellence through continuous improvement and relentless commitment to setting new standards. This ethos serves as the driving force behind every SpiceJetter, propelling us forward with unwavering determination. With the onset of the summer schedule, the demand for air travel has surged, reflecting the country's status as the fastest-growing aviation market. Whether you are embarking on a long-awaited vacation, heading home for family gatherings, or planning a weekend getaway, we stand prepared to be an integral part of your journey, creating cherished memories along the way. As part of our commitment to ensure seamless connectivity and enhanced services, we will induct ten aircraft to boost capacity through the busy summer schedule and beyond. Our recent settlements in the last one month alone have resulted in substantial savings to the tune of INR 685 Crore. Additionally, three airframes and one engine have been added to our fleet as part of these settlements. The strong balance sheet and added operational capacity add momentum to our sustained efforts to deliver better services for our passengers and create value for our stakeholders. This year, we are gearing up to operate special Haj flights from even more cities and these include Srinagar, Gaya, Guwahati, Bhopal, Indore, Aurangabad and Vijayawada. Two wide-body A340 aircraft with a seating capacity of 324 passengers each, will be inducted for the Haj flights deployed from Srinagar and Guwahati. Our first Haj flight is scheduled to take off for Medina on May 9, 2024. We look forward to delivering a smooth and hassle-free travel experience for the Haj pilgrims on their sacred journey.
